Maintenance, inspection & testing
One Fire Group systems are designed and fabricated to achieve maximum reliability.
We have a commitment to the latest Australian Standards (AS 1851-2005) "Maintenance of Fire Protection Systems & Equipment" and both fire warning and passive equipment systems are regularly tested by experienced, qualified technicians in line with these standards.
We also keep you informed of your statutory requirements in relation to your fire systems, so that you can be assured that all requirements are met through our testing, maintenance and reporting procedures.
As with all One Fire Group staff members, service personnel receive on-going training to keep them up to date with current initiatives and industry improvements for active and passive fire protection and detection equipment and systems.
Passive fire protection
At One Fire Group we are skilled in the repair and upgrading of buildings to meet the requirements of fire and smoke compartmentation under the Building Code of Australia (BCA).
Additional life safety systems
To complement the Fire Systems within buildings One Fire Group can also:
- Inspect, maintain and install exit and emergency lighting
- Facilitate efficient evacuation procedures
Servicing
One Fire Group delivers the same personalised service and attention to detail from initial design concept through to significant servicing, providing on-going maintenance and servicing of all fire systems installed by the company.
Routine maintenance
In accordance with AS 1851 the following systems and equipment are tested and maintained:
- Fire sprinkler systems
- Fire alarm systems
- Gas fire suppression systems
- Electrical and diesel pump sets
- Hose reels
- Hydrants and fire extinguishers
Technicians from our service division conduct scheduled testing of all types of fixed or portable fire systems to ensure that they are fully operational and compliant at all times.
